TRAINLI is reforming the G-scale Track industry nomenclatures because the current ones are not based on any standards and every manufacturer use R designations as they please sometimes mis-leading customers to make the wrong purchase. R3 is not equal to R3 and so on. Secondly what does R3 actually stand for and how does it correlate to radius in feet? With TRAINLI's Proline products the confusion is over. Our R designators mean what they say R = closest radius in feet. This is sometimes an approximation value since we deal exclusively with European products which are all measured in cm. If you want detail information you can always get them from our catalog. But believe us our R designators have been carefully chosen and used by many to their satisfaction.
